Austrian culture

Austria is a country with many faces. The country, located in the center of Europe, has all aspects to enjoy all year round.

Many know Austria as the country located in the center of Europe, where you can have a lot of fun in the snow in the winter. Of course this is also true. In winter, many families find a location in western Austria to enjoy a well-deserved winter sport. This happens in the west of Austria, in the state of Tyrol where the Alps are located, because if you go to the east you will find few mountains with snow where you can ski or snowboard.

Austria is not only a fantastic holiday destination in winter, you will also find many activities to do here in summer. Not many people are aware of this, as the country of high mountains is associated with snow, but it is also wonderful here in the summer. Think of hiking, mountain biking or paragliding. The warm summer days and cool summer nights are wonderfully enjoyable. The blue sky, green mountains and turquoise waters make this country an Instagram-worthy country.

During the summer this is a very affordable country

You will not find sea or beaches in this country, but you will find cold lakes where you can swim, mountains where you can walk and cycle and incredibly friendly people. I haven’t said anything about that yet, but it’s definitely worth it. The people in Austria are focused on hospitality. This means that they do a lot to ensure that you have a nice holiday, as this part of the country relies heavily on tourism that comes to Austria in the winter months.

In terms of price, you will notice that during the winter months you pay top price here. This mainly applies to hotels, but if you are open to other solutions, I advise you to also look at apartments. There are some very affordable homes here, especially if you don’t want to be in the middle of the village or town. The hotels often have various accommodations such as swimming pools and saunas. Who wouldn’t want to swim a lap after a day on the slopes? So me!
